Our Observation / Workshop Sessions
Our Observing sessions are normally held on Westleton Common Observing Site
( see Map )
As you travel through the village you turn up Mill Street, and as you leave the houses, take the dirt track on the right onto the car park. then take the footpath through the gap in the hedge, next to the notice board, onto the common where we will be on the hard standing ( 50 m from the car park )

Our normal meeting night is a Sunday night at the Darsham Village Hall.

The night of the month changes, as we try to coincides with the Full Moon when observing is not so good.

On a "Normal" DASH Observing night, observing should be the first priority. That being said after consultation of the local weather trends and people on the ground, we will publish either by email, Twitter, FaceBook, on the website, the likelihood of observing going ahead...
In the event of inclement weather we will be in the village hall for astro workshops, to be lead by the needs of the members. So if you have questions or problems, let us know and we will see if we can help.
So your actions on the night should be, 1st, check the common car park. 2nd The Darsham Village Hall.
